There is a little-known place that was once formerly an asteroid mine. It was shut down due to its 75% death rate. Some say it was the food or lack thereof while others say it was the lawlessness from the detainees sentenced to this terrible fate. Detainee is a misnomer though. The only guard known to exist was automated and often malfunctioning. The compound has been abandoned and any functioning protocols are minimal if existent at all. Visitors must fight to survive or otherwise will be destroyed. This place is known as Aethelhaven, but a haven it definitely is not. Starting April 19, play games of Kill Team and 40k to compete for survival.

When does it start?
Aethelhaven begins this Monday, April 19. Make sure you pay in shop and get your games lined up as soon as possible.
Is this a friendly warhammer crusade?
Yes, crusades at OBG are designed for newer and more casual players to get in games in a narrative format. You are more than welcome to bring a competitive list or a list that you want to try out but keep in mind that the context you are playing is not competitive. You are more than welcome to set up competitive matchups for crusade games, just make sure your opponent is aware.
Can I submit a model for the painting competition that isn't in my army roster?
Absolutely. There is no relationship between the painting competition and what you're putting on the table although it would be cool see to the progress of your painting on the table during matches.
Do I need to have a set battle roster?
No. Aethelhaven is not the most welcoming of places and the death rate is higher due to the conditions and fight for survival. We're switching up the rules here and requiring that your list is set before each week and that you stick to your list throughout the week. Keep track of your crusade cards though so that you can level up your units as they gain crusade experience.
Am I required to play a format that I don't want to play?
Not at all. We're essentially combining a Kill Team Narrative Campaign and a 40k Narrative Crusade into a parallel narrative. You will notice that different formats will have different effects in the narrative so I would encourage you to try something you haven't tried before. Our community is welcoming and helpful, feel free to ask any questions or borrow models for a match if you need them.
